Had lunch today and wow! Such amazing food and service! We loved our lunch specials and had so much, we took the rest to go. Will be coming back! Do yourself a favor and check it out, this place is great!!!
I've been searching Lodi for a good Chinese restaurant and found that the Jade fountain to be excellent from affordable price, friendly and kind people. The food is always hot And fresh full of flavor. All food entrees that I tried were excellent. My favorite is the Mongolian beef combo. With fried rice, I eat there. Once. or twice a week would recommend to a friend
I've been to Jade Fountain several times since it came under new ownership, and it never disappoints! I've tried a variety of dishes, and everything has been fantastic. The sweet and sour chicken and chow mein are personal favorites--they're always cooked to perfection. Every soup I've tried has been delicious, full of flavor, and comforting. Vegetables are super fresh. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, always checking in to make sure everything is just right. It's become a tradition to eat here whenever I visit my dad in Lodi, with my brother and fiancé, and it's always a highlight of the trip! Will keep coming back for excellent food and service!
Phone order was prepared to go even though it was close to closing. Hot mustard packet was included. I always need to ask for hot mustard! Got home, didn't open it right away. I was pleasantly surprised how the food stayed hot. Not all noodles are the same, these were really tasty. I'll be back for much more.
We tried the house egg foo young and it's was bomb delicious and so much of it. My honey loved the pineapple fried rice. The food here is authentic and clean, not greasy at all. I travel 5 miles across Lodi to get this place ....thats how good it is! Try it it won't disappoint
I don't know why this restaurant never comes up on my Yelp search. It really should, the food is very good, the service is very good. And the prices are extremely reasonable. I go here frequently, they have a bok choy and mushroom dish that's very tasty and healthy.
Great food, great service Jase Fountain has new owners, they're doing a wonderful job. Their food is fresh and delicious, their service is friendly and helpful with ordering. They also serve vegan dishes.
The new owners have really made a positive impression. The food is reasonably priced, absolutely delicious, fresh, and comes out piping hot. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I like that they offer combo plates, rice plates, and a la carte. Since they have changed owners I've been here around a half dozen times. Some of my favorites are their fried rice, potstickers, sweet and sour chicken, fried prawns, and pan fried noodles.
Came here after hearing there were new owners and it was good. Food was very fresh and tasty served hot and did not disappoint. We had the Kung Pao beef with steamed rice. Also had the egg rolls. Got a bowl of noodles with chopped onions. I had an ice cold beer and my wife had a glass of cabernet. The service was great and we enjoyed our meal.
I've been to Jade Fountain a few times since it changed ownership and I have to say, I have been very pleasantly surprised. I first had the Seafood Noodle Soup, which was really good. It had a good amount of seafood as well as vegetables, and a broth that is exactly as you might expect. I really enjoyed it. Next I had their Beef and Broccoli rice dish, which is basically a takeout container with half the item you ordered and half steamed white rice. The Beef and Broccoli was pretty standard, so no surprises in quality or flavor. Tonight I had their Orange Peel Chicken, which although is not something I would typically order, I felt that I should check it out because that is a specific dish that most casual Chinese food eaters will wonder about. First, let me say that although it is orangey, the flavor doesn't jump out at you, and that is because it doesn't have hints of vinegar like Panda Express. This isn't a bad thing, although I do like the vinegariness that some places have. It also didn't have any bits of peppers so it was not spicy at all. Overall the flavor was very good and probably the best I've had in town from a family owned restaurant. The chunks of chicken were also good because you could taste/feel the meat, it wasn't all batter like most places. The dish was also garnished with some broccoli, which I found was a welcome touch. The one thing I was kind of bummed about was that the crispiness had gone by the time I brought it back home. I would recommend to the owners (and all restaurants serving this dish) to include the sauce on the side so that it can be crisp and fresh for takeout. All in all a very good experience. They are also very fast, I don't live very far away and I can leave my house after calling in the order and it was ready by the time I got there, generally ten minutes or less. I haven't eaten inside, but the ambiance is very calm, and there is seating for small groups. Come support this great local business!
